Come celebrate one of the most historical events in the Life-Saving local history at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site. Meet on the porch and take a walk back to the 1874 Station which houses Surfboat 1046 and hear the amazing story of how that very boat was used in the WWI rescue of the crew of the torpedoed British Oil Tanker Mirlo by the surfmen of Chicamacomico. Local volunteers and descendants of the Mirlo Crew will be in attendance.  More info...
