Captain Jeremy Hicks
From an early age, Captain Jeremy Hicks (pictured right) has been an avid fisherman. He grew up in the mountains of North Carolina where his love for fishing began along the riverbanks with his father and grandfather. This love of fishing continues today in the waters off Hatteras Island. Captain Jeremy has been fishing out of Hatteras for over 11 years, first as a mate and now at the helm. He’s extremely knowledgeable, willing to teach and full of many great stories and jokes.
The Boat
The Calypso is a 45’ Capps Boatworks custom Carolina sportfisher that offers a quick trip to the Gulf Stream. She’s equipped with all the latest fish-finding technologies including Garmin electronics and Shimano tackle, plus all the creature comforts. You’ll find a refrigerator, air conditioning and a private bathroom aboard the Calypso.
