In this watery world, boating is a part of everyday life for many people and one of the favorite things to do in Hatteras. You can join the Hatteras Island boating lifestyle by getting on the water yourself. Rent a boat, take a kayak tour, hire a captain for a sailing adventure, bring your own boat and launch it in the sound — your boating and sailing options are quite varied.
